Anyone - I have nice little pink heart diamond 12pts that I want to put in a ring for my wife as wedding ring band. I''m not sure what colour gold to use, if I use white or yellow i could lose the colour of this little stone, pink gold could hide the colour too.

Whats your opinion?

I can see a white metal ring with rose gold for the prongs or bezel around the heart. I adore pink, so anything to accentuate that color would be my pick, and I do think that rose gold does that. I look forward to hearing more and seeing future pics.

Will post pics later, hopefully will see my jeweller this week. He always recommends white gold but I prefer to go for something more usual. My thoughts were rose gold band and have a heart shape cut out and fit the stone inside the ring.

Definatelt rose gold. Nice compliment to a pretty stone.

I wonder if a rose gold band with the heart diamond burnished in the metal would get visually lost. How about a slightly raised bezel around the heart to really set it off. I'm no benchman, but it does not seem like a difficult task. Anyone else know?
