Hi eveyone! Well, I picked up my e-ring and wedding ring today and I am sooooo very pleased with both of them! As we all know, I WAS concerned about the "out of round" thing, but now that my diamond is set, I LOVE IT! And the wedding ring goes just perfectly even though they were not sold as a set. The details are:
E-Ring: Yellow gold with center stone Round Brilliant 1.16 CT, G color, VS2 clarity. On either side is a round diamond (.40 total), then then next to that baguette diamond (.44 total).
Wedding Ring: Yellow gold with a baguette diamond, round diamond, larger baguette diamond in the center, then round diamond, then baguette diamond (.50 total round, .25 total baguettes).
The only thing I am not pleased with are the pictures. Please can someone tell me how to take a better picture? I have a Fujifilm FinePix Digital Camera, 2.0 Megapixels. Not sure if I have the settings right, so maybe someone can direct me to what to change?
The next thing is the appraisal. Of course I got an appraisal from the jeweler I bought them from and what is with the mark up? The appraisal I got in writing for my insurance company for both rings is $13,500.00. I paid substantially less than that!!!
