I'm definitely not "blowing smoke", travist, when I say it's marvelous -- a wonderful representation of all the thought & caring attention you've given this over the past several months. The proportions, design, and quality of the mounting are perfect for the diamond, which she surely will love even if she isn't as savvy about diamonds as you have become.

But once again I'm left wondering why Beverley K (and others) use this kind of stylized depiction of their offerings

when actual, true-to-life photographs would do the rings/mountings so much greater justice.

thanks a lot, molly. i agree..the rendering of their settings don't really give enough detail, different angles, etc.
