Glare from light reflected off the facet's surface. This is a common problem photographic gemstones as far as I know. There is no way to capture VS inclusions in a photo with such low magnification. Medium fluorescence will need some UV source to show.
The diamond looks pretty to me. Since the shape is not the outmost concern here (not a fancy shape at stake), a picture like this is not precise indication of a round's main gift - brilliance, IMO.
It is much harder to interpret pictures than, say, Idealscope images but this one seems to show good symmetry (some thin arrows show), and a slightly larger table reflection (the patch in the middle) than ideal proportions imply... As far as my far fetched guess goes, this may turn up near ideal proportions, but who knows ? It would be that much better to give up guessing and get some comparable stats about this piece (sarin, Ideal scope). This can be done during the return period if you choose to go ahead, only there is a smallamount of extra legwork getting the appropriate appraisal.
Just my 0.2, of course.
