Yep it''s a blue agate geode slice that i have on my desk. I have a pretty large collection of rocks, gems, and minerals mostly thanks to mom. She is a major rock hound and sends me all kinds of goodies

I like the prongs. So often we see princess cut stones with these blobby prongs, I like the squarish look to it! Very pretty

awww, well it IS very engagement-ring-ish

i had a friend buy his girlfriend an emerald ring, no intentions of proposing what so ever. so christmas morning she opens it in front of her family and starts jumping up and down yelling "yes i''ll marry you" and of course put it on THAT finger. He didn''t have the heart to tell her it wasn''t an engagement ring. of course the relationship ended before there was any wedding planning, poor guy.
