I haven''t seen anything like that except for a few designers (etiene perret comes to mind) whose settings will be much more expensive. I think it''s pretty reasonable for the quality you get. It''s a heavy setting too from what I understand.

Monika-This is a beautiful, unique setting. I imagine you would get many compliments wearing it! Please keep us posted.

I love that setting!

I have seen that setting in person at WF and it is truly amazing. Very unique and with just the right amount of sparkle. I think it is a great setting!

Here is a side view that I had taken.

Oh gosh! I think this is a very unique setting and I''d love to see real life pics of it. I''d also love to see a princess version of it. *hint* *hint* WF! I probably would have seriously had to think about that one if those were little baby princess cuts. I LOVE the band that goes with it and have thought about looking into the band for just a middle finger ring. If you get it please post pics! I''d love to see.

KT,

Thanks for posting the picture. Do you think a 0.5-0.75 diamond would look nice in it or would it be too small? Also how did you see this in person?

I just purchased this setting with an 0.59 RB ACA. I chose the legato head rather
than the standard U-prong. I''m extremely happy with the setting (and so is she),
and I think it is more than worth the price. We''ve gotten many compliments.

fizix - it''s beautiful! And I think you made a good choice with the head!

I''ve seen it with a princess center, but not with princess melee.

I really like the legato head!! When I was visiting WF last year, they told me that they wouldn''t allow any changes to their designs. That''s one reason I was turned off from this setting, b/c I love the mounting, but the head just seemed too bulky for my tastes. Seeing your ring makes me love it all over again!!! It''s beautiful!

It''s lovely! Congrats!

Very, very pretty!

Fizix,

If you don''t mind me asking what carat size did you choose for the diamond?

It is 0.59 carat, 5.40mm diameter. Thanks everyone for the compliments!
