Peridot halo necklace from Derco''s?

So my bf gave me the go ahead to purchase a 0.88 peridot surrounded by a halo of diamonds from Derco in SF for my bday present. The price is roughly $600. What do you experts on this board think? Good deal? Oh yeah, it''s also in white gold, and has two little bezeled (I think) diamonds on the chain, on each side of the main pendant.

Opinions and suggestions much appreciated, thanks!

I think the price sounds about right. You might find a bit cheaper or bit more expensive too depending on who you buy it from, the quality of the peridot and the workmanship. Do they happen to have a photo of it on the Derco web site?
