Too funny Autumnnovember. She asked my husband if he cared if she gave me a bigger diamond than he bought me. I don't think I can call it an ideal cut.

That looks like a bit of an inclusion top center though. Not sure it would qualify as "eye clean." Of course with a rock that size, one little inclusion might not matter that much...

LOL Tuckins - I did clean it with Windex before posing it for photos but as you know we can't rub out those pesky inclusions.

Somethingshiny, good idea to light a candle and try some fire shots. I have some vanilla candles just waiting to be lit.

JewelFreak, you have to put up with some color zoning to get that size of rock.

Somethingshiny, very true - it’s more clear and refracts more light than some of the “frozen spit” diamonds we all know and don’t love.
