Pendant and Earring Owners...

Which do you enjoy wearing more... your pendant or diamond studs? I plan to purchase one or the other (unfortunately not enough cash for both!) and want to get some advice!

I enjoy my pendants more because my hair always covers my earrings.

I enjoy my earrings more because I wear them almost every day, and my hair doesn''t cover them. I don''t wear a pendant everyday -- particularly becuase necklines change and either cover or don''t always look good with the same style pendant.

I wear pendant more....My hair likes to fall forward, and by the end of the day, I can''t see the earrings!! I can switch chains, depending on my neckline, so that it shows up.....

I''d have to vote for the studs. Alot of shirts and dresses aren''t able to showcase a necklace very well. It probably would depend on your hairstyle though.

I love my pendant and rarely take it off. it's got a 16 inch chain with the diamond half-bezel set, and looks nice with almost any neckline. i have long hair, so earrings wouldn't show as much... and i like to wear all kinds of different earrings, so i think they wouldn't get as much use.

I think you need to think about your personal style and dressing/accessorizing habits. For example, i don''t own studs because I change my earrings every day and wear both good earrings and costume/fashion earrings that are trendy. So, when i go for a jewelry purchase, I haven''t taken the plunge for studs since they can be a big investment/puchase. On the otherhand, if you are looking for that classic staple that goes with everything and you know you don''t want to have to worry about changing earrings too often, the studs might be ideal for you.

A pendant is a classic, and the simple, elegant bezel or basket style on a delicate chain, at about 16 inches, can be worn with almost anything, as it sits right at the base of the neck. I know many women who wear such a pendant everyday--it is their signature piece.

Renconcile all the checks and balances of your personal style and jewelry habits and you should have an answer.

i love them both!!! I think though I enjoy wearing my pendant more. I love my pendant (round solitaire in a basket setting, 16" chain) because it is bigger than my studs so the sparkle is more noticeable. It is SO classic and I wear it with my jeans, dresses and I will wear it on my wedding day.

If you wear your hair up a lot get the earrings, but I wear my pendant much more than the earrings.

Thanks for the great feedback from everyone! I think I am leaning toward the pendant...anyone have a pendant in a yellow gold pendant setting?

I actually wear my princess cut earrings every day and interchange my pendants (3 stone, solitaire, and cluster heart). It's hard to choose one over the other. But given a choice, I'd pick diamond studs because I wear them everyday.

This is a hard question as I love my diamond studs, but if pressed I would have to say my diamond heart pendant. My friend gave me this beautiful heart pendant to remember him by when he was sticken with cancer. I wear it every day and I would feel naked without it around my neck, he was like a brother to me and I think of him every morning when I put it on.
