Pearls Hall of Fame

Hope this thread provides a good amount of pearl eye candy and provides more inspiration to all pearl lovers. This "Pearls Hall of Fame" thread was thought up by Mrs Taylor...

I want a Pearls Hall of Fame thread. We have a "Show Me Your Pearls" but it's hard to wade through. Hall of Fame would be a cool way to showcase how many different kinds of pearls there are, how many colors and how many creative ways you can use them.

Pls post pearls/pics posted on Pricescope that you think should belong to a "Hall of Fame". If you can find the original thread, pls include a link to the original thread. Doing so will allow all of us to enjoy unbroken eye candy, and to continue the chatter on the original thread...

I'll start with DiaDiva's neckful of baroque tahitians that had captivated me ever since I saw her avatar photo. Think she really inspired my love for tahitians over other pearl types.

I love Pattye's SoC mabe earrings and pendant from Care Ehret. I like the way the gold is finished on those pieces where the pearls are surround on the side and back in real gold. They look more polished and professional looking. I prefer those to Care's mabe pieces that are top drill or side drill and wire-wrap pieces. Enough said.

We would be remiss to leave out HHPMom's Sea of Cortez strand from the Pearl Hall of Fame. These strands are so rare they are individually named and numbered. HHPMom owns strand 2011-B and was purchased directly from the owner of the pearl farm in Mexico. The blue center pearl here is one of a kind.
