We were travelling this week and came across this pearl and diamond flower spray being sold as a broach. DW noticed there was a feature on the back of the spray that would accommodate a chain and allow the piece to be worn as a pendant. It is set in 18K yellow gold and it just so happens DW had her amethyst and turquoise pendant with her with an 18KYG chain.
Next day we went back with the chain to see how the piece would look as a pendant:
Well it hung perfectly and looked pretty darned good, so we went ahead with the purchase. We know nothing about pearls, but I think these pearls are more a match for the diamonds than the gold, maybe champagne color? I think they're around 12mm, and would appreciate any comments from our pearl experts.
