There is an actual size chart with the different shapes somewhere, I will see if I can find it. Of course, you have to take it on a general basis as some fancies may be cut deeper or more shallow than others so that can throw a spanner in the works. Many things can make a difference to how a diamond faces up sizewise.
I can't seem to get the size chart to work, but it only would have given a very rough idea, you need to go by the mm measurements to consider a diamond's spread rather than the carat weight.
Generally speaking, the pear will look bigger at the same carat weight. This pear is already bigger in carat weight so unless it''s a very deep stone, the pear will appear larger.
I''m just not comfortable saying whether either will be bigger with the information given. Can you post the mm measurements of each stone? If we have this information, someone can make a photoshop mockup of the stones side by side and we can see if there is a visual difference.
