Hi All,
I've been looking at pears for an engagement ring and based on my reading there is no such thing as an "ideal" cut pear so one really needs to understand what to look for to identify a good stone. Unfortunately, I don't have a trained eye so I've organized my search on certain measurements that would suggest a good stone based on various websites and then I've picked out the one that looks the best to my eye. This is the stone I like the best so far.

After chatting with James Allen they also recommended these:

I've requested an ASET image for the stone I like, but am unsure what to look for and will base my interpretation on the guide here:

Obviously, my goal is to get the stone with the most brilliance. When I'm out in public, I've noticed some girls have very brilliant rings and others are quite dull so I'd like to avoid anything that will look dull. Is an ASET image the best tool to measure this? I'm more than happy to pay a little extra to get max brilliance from the stone.
Lastly, I've read enchanted diamonds is a reputable online dealer and they have ASET images on their website. Does anyone use this site or should I stick with James Allen?
Thanks for any insights.
