I don't know what your price range is, but the 3.54 carat pear listed at the top of the page is one of the most beautiful color aquas I have ever seen, and there's very little grey in that stone compared to the other aquas, which is RARE!! He takes offers on stones, so you wouldn't have to pay that full price. I tend to see more grey in aquas than in my husband's hair!!Date: 1/20/2009 11:19:13 PM

I think you can give a substantially lower offer. I check out their ebay auctions from time to time and they accept offers a lot lower than the asking price on occassion. It depends on how long it's been in stock I would imagine. That stone is amazing, and much better than any of the aquas I've seen at my recent trip to Tiffany & Co.Date: 1/21/2009 9:00:24 AM

Yes, that 3.54 pear is lovely but one would need a healthy budget for that gorgeous aqua. Very blue and not much gray. Certainly not your typical aquamarine that is so pale and washed out.
True, but whether it is accepted is another question. Adam will work with you to arrive at a fair price. But, sometimes he just cannot lower his asking price by much, if at all. My emerald is one such example.Date: 1/21/2009 10:53:52 PM

Please buy this stone and save me from myself!!! I''ve been eyeballing it forever!
That''s why I mentiond that he can accept offers a lot lower than the asking price on occassion. I would imagine he couldn''t do it all the time.Date: 1/21/2009 11:42:04 PM

No offence meant, but have you ever dealt with him? I believe I was the one who told you that he negotiates. However, I have never stated that he accepts "substantially lower" offers.Date: 1/21/2009 11:45:56 PM
