Good afternoon everybody.
In this thread, it is discussed that a customer is at additional risk when shopping on ebay if they opt to pay using Paypal when funded with a Discover card. This seems like a pretty serious slam against Discover. I have many questions that arise from this.
Is it correct that Discover offers more resistance to refunds than other credit card companies?
In the case of Visa/Mastercard, does the issuing bank make a difference?
Is it better to avoid paypal entirely and pay the merchant directly through their own credt card system, if they have one?
Should a customer have a preference for merchants that process their own credit cards rather than shopping with vendors who rely on paypal for their card processing?
What about American Express?
