Hello,

I'm trying to finalize a solitaire engagement ring with a single line of pave diamonds along the band (2-2.5mm wide band).
Now that I know the above, I need to decide what type of pave setting to use. Could someone please summarize the styles? Leon Mege's website is fairly good but I'm still confused because when I discuss it with Whiteflash (I've contacted them for a quote) some of the terms are the same and some are not. I don't know if the different terms are different styles or if they are just calling them by a different name.

Eg. fishtail (one I actually know I don't want), bead set, shared prong (2 prongs/diamond), mushroom, V-shaped, U-shaped, etc.

Many thanks in advance!

These are the kind Art of Platinum makes, not positive but I think L-R it is 3 sided micropave, beadset, another larger 3 sided micropave, and fishtail

Ah, I think the second from left could be bright cut.
