Hey Guys,

So, I'm looking at maybe adding this rose gold band to my collection. Some of you might remember I bought a band a couple of months ago that turned out to be a Lohengrin with single cut diamonds so I'll have a little stack going if I add this one.

Two questions, is the patina on this typical of rose gold antique rings? I have no experience with rose gold. Also I've been having a heck of a time finding a rose gold ring that isn't a wide cigar band that is also 14k. Is it safe to say finding a 14K rose gold dainty band in a vintage or antique is a bit needle in a haystack?

Thanks for any help or thoughts!

Pretty! The band just needs a little polishing, and that patina will go away.
Without polishing, it will come off with wear. It's probably been stored away for years, and it has darkened with age.

@stracci2000, thanks for that reply, the patina was throwing me off, not sure how it will look with my other rings but good to know that it can be polished if need be.
