Alj I wonder if you can give me some information about your gorgeous 7-stone wedding band...

Is it the same design as the band offered on WF''s website? (here)

How thick (high off the finger) is your band between your fingers where there are no diamonds?

How thick is the band at the top where the diamonds are?

Are you still happy with the 5 pointers with your sized center stone or could you have gone bigger?

Thanks so much, you are awesome and I looooove your rings

Hey, Dreamer

Yes, it''s the same band as the one on our website - 7 stone shared prong.

I''d guess the band sits about 2mm off the finger where the diamonds are and about 1.5mm in between the fingers. That tapers as you get toward the bottom of the band.

For me, I''m still happy with the 5-pointers. My goal was to keep most of the focus on my 1.24 center stone, and I didn''t want the band to compete. I''ve been wearing the set for almost 5 years, and I''d still pick this look. 10-pointers are more blingy, or course, but I still prefer the look of the 5-pointers.

Thanks so much for the ring love.

I too have a diamond about that size and I am looking for a band that will add some bling but won''t compete too much with my solitaire, so I was debating between the 5 and 7 pointers (.35cttw and .50cttw). My finger size is the same as yours too

My solitaire is the sleek line legato, and although the diamonds would stick up higher at the top than the solitaire, it sounds like the side thicknesses of the two rings is similar (1.5mm) and so looking down on the hand the rings might actually appear similar in thickness! That would be great since matching a diamond band to the legato is a chore with its very thin profile.

I like the 5 pointers a lot, but I wonder whether you notice very much that the diamonds don''t cover the whole top of your finger? With your three-stone, the look works so well because the diamonds in the w-band seem to end where the side-stones on the e-ring end, so it is very complimentary. With a solitaire, I wonder if a 9-stone band would work better so that the diamonds cover the whole top of the finger. Do you have an opinion on this, since you have actually worn the ring?

Dreamer, sorry for the delay - it''s been a crazy day!

If I look at my finger from a top-down view, the diamonds DO span the entire width of my finger, so that''s not a problem. Of course, from the inner finger view (i.e. looking at your own hands while typing, writing, etc.), I do see the metal of the band, but it doesn''t bother me visually and I personally feel that it''s more comfortable that way.

It would likely bother me more if the stop point on the stones was exactly in between my fingers. Honestly, rings move around with the hands anyway, so unless you''re going to go 3/4 eternity, it''s likely that you''ll have to occasionally adjust them anyway whether you go 7-stone or 9-stone, so I''d personally just stick to the 7 for me.

Hope the extra info helps you determine what''s best for your preferences.
