Wow, this really pops! This beauty will keep you from dozing off at the meeting, I’m sure. I do not see any brown as well, the office light probably does make it look more pink than it actually is?

Yeah indoors it shift more pinkish. Outdoors more orange.

Also I think because it has red fluorescence, maybe that’s why it looks pinker/redder in some light than others. Cause I’m other indoor lighting it looks orange and more warm. Who know.

Some info and stats:
Padparadscha Sapphire, heated, 1.08 ct 6.38 x 5.29mm.
Tsavorite garnet, untreated, 1.6 ct2 ct, 8.14x 7.62mm

The ring is designed as my sort of minimalist interpretation of a lotus flower with the pad as the flower with satin finished rose gold leaves and the tsav as the lotus pad in yellow gold, with the "stem" in white gold. Size 5.5. It is quite a solid and hefty ring which also lends to it feeling luxurious to me.

I looooove the colors and saturation on both stones, they're my holy grail colors for those types of gems. And I love the sculptural quality of the rose gold "petals". The whole ring feels very boutique and designer to me. And you can see the colors across the room. Have already had numerous compliments on it!

I really like the contrast of the satin finish on the petals, it really draws the eye to the pad even though the tsav is bigger.

I just realized taking pics that the tsav is tilted "in" a bit, so I'll have my jeweler fix that next time I go by to pick up my other ring. I love that about having a local jeweler, if I notice something wrong, I can just pop by and explain and she fixes it! She just finished resizing my ACA bangle and the fit is much cozier now

Sure. I bought this one and it works well. I like that I have a black light and an led light. I don’t like that there no switch. You twist the top to turn it on and loosen it to turn it off. Not a big deal, since I don’t play with it every day.

Bleh. The “tilt” on the tsav is getting more annoying cause I can’t unsee it.

But I just got it and don’t want to hand it back to the jewele just yet. Maybe when I pick up Hazel I’ll be ok not wearing it for a bit.
