Oxygen thief

My cubicle buddy(the annoying one that chews really loudly) was whispering away with some old dude and he mentioned something about someone who is an "oxygen thief" at the office. I can''t help thinking that he is whispering away about me.

Whatever, i don''t care. What I do at the office is very small and seems so mundane but i think its so rude of him to say that about someone (no matter who it is).

I''m just so angry. Its one of those weeks.

Oxygen thief= useless person who is not needed in the office and taking away oxygen from other people who are doing something with their time

What a jerk your coworker is. I try to just ignore stupid/immature behaviour (I know it''s hard).

Why do you even care? If it was coming from someone you liked and respected, then, yeah, that''d have hurt. If you think he''s really talking about you and this happens again, I''d say something to him. Otherwise, just pretend he''s not there.

I would ignore him. Maybe he''s talking about someone else. But I''d have as little to do with him as possible.

hrmm..you seem to dislike and get upset by a number of things at your work Cindy - have you considered changing jobs?

I only say this, as I used to be in the same position - and I know how much being in a job where you don''t like your tasks/workmates can be frustrating to say the least.

I''m being contracted out at the moment doing a job that is really nothing to do with my real job... you can say I''m frustrated. I am VERY motivated to get it all finished off so i''ve been working like a madman lately.

And yes, i did very much respect and liked my coworker. To hear him being horrible just made me feel angry cos obviously i was wrong about him.
