Now I''m down to two diamonds. What do you think by the numbers? I have looked at both and will go back again today to make final decision

Thanks so much. Oh also, Solomon Brothers came in $400 more on the setting than Capetown

What are the measurements, and do you like how they look in person? Fancy shapes need to be picked by the eye, not necessarily by the numbers.

Measurements are:

Solomon - 8x5.97x3.02
Local - 8.34x5.97x3.02

I looked at the local yesterday and liked it. Had a small feather towards the center. The Solomon Brothers diamond has been a little longer so not as fresh in my head but I did rate it as my favorite of 4 I saw that day. There is a small feather towards the top of this diamond. Just wondering if it is worth bumping up to a F in clarity. They are both very good cuts.

Can you see either of the feathers without a loup, and does it bother you if they aren''t "eyeclean"? The color probably won''t make much difference, it''s only one grade off. Maybe take a trip back and see both of them again. Try different lighting conditions too, not just in the store''s fancy lighting. I have a .94ct oval that looks horrible in jewelry store lighting, but great in everyday type lighting.
