Looking for around a 1ct oval diamond not much over 4k.

Anything noticeably wrong with this oval? I can see the bowtie but I am not sure what is normal to see in these magnified images. It seems kind of cheap to me based on its specs. Is it this price because of the blue florescence? I guess the Blue wouldn't really be beneficial to a D colored stone. Does it actually hurt it? Or is there something else I am not noticing.

I would nix both of those. Let us know your budget and we can point out some descent ones. Nice ovals are hard to find and you
have to know what to look for.

The first one would be barely in my budget. I don't even mind going down to .9 something since ovals look larger anyways. I'm confused at how to evaluate them as I was just using the "ideal" specs for depth and such on an advanced search. Also I remember seeing that there was a certain cut of ovals that could almost eliminate the bow tie effect when I was searching through here. How do I see which stones are cut that way

There is a cut that can eliminate the bow-tie area but they are not that particularly pretty IMO. They can also not be cut well
and not have good light return like any other oval. Here is an example. For stones over a carat that usually have an inclusion plot
you can see the faceting pattern...

Why dont you just ask for help in picking out a nice oval? Give us your budget...here are some I think might be in your budget

Look at the mm length to see which stones are bigger.
