Our wedding bands!

I probably should've posted this in SMTR, but I just first had to share with my BWW friends!

My e-ring is from WF, and we had such a great experience that I thought we were going to return to them for our bands. But we really didnt know what we wanted, so we thought that the best thing to do was to hit the L.A Jewelry Mart and check/try things out.

I really like the look of solitare/eternity sets, but didn't know what to pair up with my princess e-ring. I didn't want it matchy-matchy, but certainly wanted it to compliment. I found an eternity band where the round stones are set in such a way that they almost look square. Doubtful that the diamonds are "ideal", but it sparkles a bit and I like how well it fits with my e-ring. I also bought a plain plat band from eweddingbands.com so I can switch things up. Yes, I have a "honeymoon band" (thanks for the idea, JCrow!)

He picked a two-tone (brushed & plain metal), titanium band. He's a scientist, and wanted something that wasn't bulky or heavy on his fingers.

THANKS much for your lovely comments! With about 40 more days to go until the wedding, I can now breathe a sigh of relief to cross this very important item on my "to do" list!

LAJennifer & Amber: We bought the rings at Mon Cheri Diamonds at 550 South Hill St., Ste 515. I just checked our invoice, and my band is style # is 48668 (?). Oh yeah, it's white gold. His band is #48157- I think. The guy's writing is hard to read!! Cost-wise, I cannot break each item out. He gave us a "deal" for paying cash, and 'cause my band came straight from the display case (his was ordered). But if I remember correctly, his band is comparable in price to the ones on eweddingbands.com, and mine was a steal. We paid a total of $550- not bad.

Your fi''s band is great too; I totally understand why he would want a non-bulky band for lab work. I don''t even wear my 5 stones band to work (I work in a lab). I should really get a plain band to wear everyday, but I just haven''t got around to it.

OOOH...I really love it. Can you post more pics? I had a really hard time picking something out for my ring, and ended up with the Jeff Cooper matching plain platinum band for now...I figure I can get something more blingly later. The hard part was finding something I liked...wish I had taken you shopping with me!
