I just received our wedding bands from E-Weddingbands.com. They are great! I love my fiance''s! He got a tungsten 6mm domed comfort fit band. It''s a wonderful color of metal and it''s so smooth and comfortable. My band is platinum 2.5mm domed comfort fit. I got it to match my e-ring band exactly and it''s a very good match! I do wish mine was a little more rounded on the inside, but when I have it on it matches my e-ring perfectly!

I''m just so excited to have them and I thought I''d share a few pics! Sorry for the crappy camera... it''s the work camera

Very SMART set! And I love the Tungsten band too... EXCITING!!!!

Thanks, Deco! I think that wearing the w-band even makes my diamond look larger!

Big plus! Also, I must say that I feel very fortunate to not have suffered from DSS. Every day I think my diamond looks huge!

Love the 2.5 mm domed comfort fit...I''ve been looking for one. I only saw a 2mm or 3mm comfort fit on their site though...do you have a link to the 2.5mm rounded comfort fit?

Ooh! I really like the way your set looks! I''m going for a similiar look. I''ll definitely check out this site.

Both bands are beautiful and classic! I love heavy rounded bands on a man. And yours is perfect with your e-ring...one of my favorite looks for a set. So clean, elegant and timeless!

~~It''s a PERFECT match!!!! So lovely...

FF, it was actually a custom order since they don''t have it on their website. I just got a quote from their online chat window. The people there seem very very nice. And their customer service seems very good also. We will be testing out their customer service though, because my fiance has decided to get a larger size. I''ll let you know how easy it is!

Cool...thanks!!!

They look fab together!!

Very nice! I''m actually planning to order bands from them too - 5mm for my fiance and either 2 or 2.5mm for me...you have a Lockes e-ring, right? If I recall, that is wider than 2.5mm? My e-ring is about 2.7mm and I am trying to decide between the 2.5mm and 2mm...2.5mm may be more "matching" but I''m afraid it might be too wide with the e-ring, and I like the more delicate look of the 2mm, but it doesn''t match as well...

Also, does the band fit completely flush against your e-ring? My head is set lower and sticks out a bit, so I was thinking of getting the domed "light" comfort fit.

Thanks and enjoy your rings!

Very lovely!

Hi Teagreen! Ya, I have the lockes signature e-ring. I measured it with a micrometer and the width varies very slightly around the band, but it averages at 2.5mm. I wanted it to match my band exactly, so I got it 2.3mm thick as well. It does not fit flush with my e-ring, there is a small space, but I like it. When they are sitting perfectly side by side on my finger the w-band hits the base part of the head, which I think is good. But I noticed sometimes the rings move and the band hits bottom of one of the prongs. I''m not sure if this is something to worry about or not. If I have a platinum ring rubbing against a platinum prong can this cause problems??? Thanks!

Oh, but I think the ''light'' band would definitely sit lower, so it might be a good bet with you ring!

Great looking wedding bands!!!

I''m no expert, but it makes sense to me that a band rubbing against a prong would cause some wear, even if they are the same material. Don''t take my word for it, though! I hope they don''t damage each other.

Teagreen - I''ve ordered several bands from eweddingbands.com and they can actually make a custom width for you. My old solitaire had a 2.75mm wide band and I had eweddingbands custom-make a 2.75 heavy comfort fit band for me. It took only 1 week longer than their stock bands!

Sunkist, your w-band looks amazing with your e-ring! I agree, it does make your diamond look huge!!!

And I love your man''s tungsten ring as well. It''s so refined and classic. For a second, I was like, "Wow, his hands are SO pretty!" until I realized YOU were wearing his ring! Go figure!!!

Hahah! I was afraid people might think that was his hand

But no, I just HAD to try it on mine. Well, at least you thought it was a pretty hand and not a manly hand

haha! He actually does have a very nice manly hand though

Thanks Kristy..and not to threadjack sunkist, but do you think it would look weird if the two aren''t the same width? I tried on a 2.5mm band in a store and it looked the same as my e-ring - but would a 2mm band look too "off" with the 2.7mm e-ring? I tend to think it might allow the stone to stand out more, but I know most people go for exact matching.

Teagreen, I think the answer would depend on your e-ring style. Can you please refresh my memory...what does your e-ring look like?

It''s a plain six-prong solitaire in platinum, and looks basically like sunkist''s from the top down.

Ah, in that case, I''d recommend a 2.5 or 2.7mm to match your e-ring shank. I think a 2mm might look slightly off. I''m normally NOT a matchy-matchy fan, but in the case of a classic solitaire with plain band, I think the closer they are in width the better. My 2 cents.
