Ok... dressing yourself up.... how many pieces are you comfortable wearing before you get the feeling to ask... ummmm, is this too much?

Myself I would say earrings, necklace, wedding rings, watch (which is more functional that ornamental... it is a running watch and way UGLY! ha!) ... and if dress up 1 right hand ring. If I have a broach I won''t wear a necklace or a bracelet, I wont wear my watch. So I think my personal ornament limit is... 3 or 4.

I''m so minimalist. . .the most is my wedding set, a diamond pendant and my diamond stud earrings! I don''t even own a watch (check my cellphone for time) and bracelets are uncomfortable to me.

I am the same as MC...wedding rings, pendant, earrings, maybe a bracelet for special events.

For me it''s not a question of quantity, but balance. If I wear large earrings, I won''t wear a necklace. If I wear a necklace, I''ll wear small earrings. If I wear noticeable bracelets, I''ll only wear one ring - usually a large one. For the Christmas party I wore one large rings, large earrings AND a feather in my hair AND a brooch on my jacket. But that was a glittery event so it was okay for the earrings and the feather but normally I would say two eye catching pieces shouldn''t be worn so close together.

Max two rings, a necklace and earrings.. and bracelets sometimes!!

I don't wear very much. I'm a let-one-bodypart-shine type of woman. haha

I'll wear wedding rings and an antique watch and bracelets stacked on one hand/wrist with earrings when I'm going out at night. If I wear a necklace, I don't wear earrings and vice versa.

Clothes? Just kidding, I am the same way.

and Starset... I completely agree w/ the balance! Gr8 point.

Starset Princess puts it beautifully. I''ll wear my wedding set, watch, earrings, a RHR or two, and a pendant without a qualm in the abstract, but if the earrings are little chandeliers, I''ll rethink the pendant. Also, because I am very much a ring girl, I tend to stay away from the bracelets. Balance in all things ....

I have a "bling it on" style! Earrings, Necklace, RHR and wedding set. My earrings and necklace are smaller pieces, I try to keep the big blings where I can see em!

3 - earrings and ring I always wear. If I'm going out I might wear a necklace or bracelet. None of my items are that big so even if I wear a couple of rings or two pairs of earrings I don't feel out of place. But I'm not much on bracelets or necklaces, it's really easy for me to feel overloaded when I'm wearing those.

I always wear my e-ring and wedding ring and a pair of earrings. Sometimes I wear a bracelet and/or necklace if I have something to match. It depends on my mood and what I''m wearing. I never wear other rings since I started wearing the engagement ring.
That''s it for me, I keep it pretty simple.

I can''t wear earrings AND a necklace. It''s just too weird for me, I automatically feel like they conflict and it''s ''too much'', even if I''m wearing nothing else (jewelery-wise

). I had to be talked into it for my wedding, and even then it was itty-bitty studs with an admittedly somewhat plain gold locket pendant. So I guess the total for that, for everyday, is 1.

I only feel comfortable having rings on one finger of each hand. But... I''ll wear up to three stacked rings (bands) on each of those two fingers. So I guess the total for that is really just 2 (if you count a stack of bands as one piece... because that''s what they look like, really).

It took me awhile to get used to the idea of wearing a watch with my wedding set. It looked like it was too much at first. I could do a thin bracelet though. But not both. So the total there is 1.

So that''s 4, I guess?

I''m with tlh - my everyday is my studs, wedding set, small pendant, and a watch. RHR and/or bracelets for special/dressy occasions. I sometimes also wear bigger earrings or fancier necklaces, but not all at once.

wring + ering + small rhr + bracelet + small earrings with necklace OR larger earrings with no necklace.

that''s about my limit.

a lot of times i don''t wear my bracelet or rhr.

MOST days i''m wearing stud earrings + wring + ering.

I apply the Chanel Rule when I realize I'm wearing one of every type of jewelry. Wearing a ring, rhr, pendant, earrings, and bracelet is too much for me, so if I want to wear a pendant, then I take off the RHR or bracelet, etc.

My every day is w-set, bracelet, stud earrings.

ETA: I also agree with Starset's balance thing. As a general rule (my wedding not included), I will not wear any earring other than my studs with a necklace. If the earrings draw attention to my face, then it doesn't make sense to draw attention to my neck, too.
