Orbit Infant System - Canada

I have fallen in love with the Orbit stroller, head over heals!!! Then found out that they are not in the Canadian market

. I am wondering if anyone from Canada has purchased one - and how they went about getting around the saftey laws with the car seat (if you got around them at all). I know its not approved here, but the states have MUCH harsher grading standards so saftey is not the issue. It''s just missing that little sticker!

If anyone knows anything please let me know

I don''t have one so I can''t answer your question, but I wanted to say that if the carseat is not approved for use in Canada and you have an accident, your insurance provider can refuse coverage- not worth the risk in my opinion. Buy the stroller- but use a Canadian approved carseat. You may be able to get adaptor bars to use with other carseats? And I''ve heard varying reports on which countries have the tougest safety standards... a lot of people say that Canada''s standards are tougher.

AGREED! There are alot of items that just don't meet Canada's strict standards (drugs/supplements is what mostly comes to mind). I believe our system is a bit stricter. If there are no safety concerns with this stroller, then I'd just hop on over the border and buy one!
