Hi everyone,

Came across this great site just as I was about to buy this diamond for my girlfriend and wanted an opinion please.

Round brilliant,
0.91ct, E, VS2,
excellent cut,
V.good polish and symmetry,
size 6.17-6.20 x 3.8mm,
Table 60%,
Crown height - angle 34 degrees,
Pavillion depth - angle 41 degrees,
Girdle Med - sl thick (faceted),
Cutlet pointed,
flourescence very slight.

The diamond is certified by the IGI.

I seem to be getting a very good deal on this. I'm based in europe and the diamond set in a platinum setting, shipped is costing approximately 3600-3700 euros.

From what i've read the diamond seems like a nice one but i'd like the opinions of everyone on here as you guys really know your stuff.

Anyway, thanks in advance!

Seems to be a good price. A .9 F VS2 is at least 4000 USD on the PS search engine.

Personally, I would avoid an IGI graded diamond. IGI is not considered terribly accurate and you may very well not be getting an E VS2.

Thanks for the input guys,

Jazmine, the cert was issued from IGI Antwerp. From reading these forums I believe that they give fairly accurate certs compared to some of the other IGI labs. But yes I am aware of the potential issues with IGI hence asking for any and all opinions here.

Keep them coming please as I need to make a decision on this soon. Thanks.

Seems like a good deal.

I get a little leary when dealing overseas, although I had a good experience and a couple of jet setter friends have found success abroad.
Ditto, on Jazmines comments,I look more on the intangibles when I am dealing overseas, such as reputation, years in business, etc.
also doing a search on PS, will help
