Hi, I''m almost a newbie here. This site is so great. I''ve learned so much from PS forum, and thank you all.
My 10th anniversary is coming. My DH generous gave me a green light to buy a new diamond ring. Now, my finding a beautiful rock journey starts. Plz give me your opinions about stones that I found. I''m really appreciate your thought.

Oh, the first stone on website reports diam 8.14 - 8.19mm ,and on megascope it''s 8.14 - 8.29mm. If stone has diam 8.14-8.29mm, it''s defnitely not round.

Don''t go by that, the GIA cert says 8.15-8.20 and the Sarin says 8.14-8.19 with an average of 8.17.

Thank you Diamond, I just ask GOG and the right number is 8.15 - 8.20mm.

congrats on 10th anniversary!

regarding the stones, it is a total toss up...i think have both shipped to you for a test-drive.

I like the J with MB myself.

I like the J...it''s got MB flour, it''s less expensive, and I like the arrow pattern better.

Hmmm they are both nice, but you seem to be planning on investing a fair amount of $ into this, I''d keep looking and comparing. What''s on your wish list? Brilliant cut, 2ct? Anything else?

I''ll follow Cut - Carat - Color - Clarity.
I have an 1ct ring with I color. It isn''t a very good cut, but it''s beautiful, sparkle to me. I recived lots of good compments. I think that I''ll love a J color with ideal cut. It can be down to SI1 or SI2 if stone is eye-clean. My budget is $13000-14000. I''ll keep looking. If you come cross any stone that look good in my range, plz tell me.

It sounds like you really have a good idea of what you want. Have you seen J colored stones in ideal cut? Or are you saying that it will probably look like your OK cut I? And the J does have Blue Fluor which will make a difference. Now there are low K med K and upper K colors. Maybe you have a high I and this is a low K. Then you may see a difference. If I were you I''d call and ask about the color since it is a very nice stone!

Some PSers that know what they want contact a vendor and ask the vendor to find them a stone. That''s the way stones get sold before they even show up on the web page. You know enough about what you want to do that.

Happy searching!

Thank you all.
StoneHunter: No, I haven''t seen any J stone yet. Yes, I do think an ideal J will be nice as my I. Am I right?
I spoke with Tim, he said that a J stone is eye-clean. But I am still worried by the main inclusion in picture .I forgot to aks him about is this a low or hight J. ( I''m still leanning ). Maybe I''ll aks GOG about that. I''m thinking to buy this J, let them ship it to me. I''ll have 30 days to decide. Or do I wait, keep looking for another J with better cut, better clarity?
