This is my first post to the forum so please don't get mad if this topic has already been discused. I just want to get any opinions I can on a diamond that I purchased. Here are the specs:
Carats: 1.010
Color: G
Clarity SI2
Cut: Lazare Ideal Cut AGS000
Table: 57
Depth: 61.9
Crown angle: 34
Pavilion Angle: 41.2
Culet: Small
Girdle: Thin
Flourescense: Negligible
Halloway cut adviser: Very good across the board
The only real concern I had was I could "BARELY" see a black inclusion face up but I really had to look for it. I don't think it will be very noticable to my girlfriend, and obviously noone else will see it unless they take the time to inspect it. I made the purchase because the jeweler was very honest and straightforward about every aspect of the diamond. He didn't force me to buy this diamond and I believe he gave me a very fair price for a local jeweler. I paid 5700 for the diamond. The diamond has very nice fire and brilliance and I believe this will mask the slight inclusion. Did I make a mistake buying this diamond? Any opinions would be greatly appreciated as I can trade this diamond for full value towards a new one. Thanks so much.
