Hi All,

Requesting your opinions on this stone from JA:

1.75crt F SI2 Per JA's email: "Its twinning wisps blend very well and it should face eye clean to the average eye. The gemologist feels that only a keen eye will be able to pick up on the twinning wisps."

I think the IS is beautiful!!! The numbers are great as is the HCA score. As long the gemologist honestly can say it's truly eye clean, it looks like a good stone!

Question for you -- do you see those white curvy lines in the IS coming down from the 11:00 position?

Do you think those are the twinning wisps showing up, doing something funky to the light? Or is that something else that has nothing to do with the wisps?

Yes, that's why I said to make sure with the gemologist that it is truly eye clean. Do you have a link to the video? If you saw the video and didn't see it in there then you won't see it in person. The videos and images shows on the website and the IS that you posted above are very much zoomed in, so you'll have to consider that fact too.

The stone was one of those few JA stones that didn't have the video attached to it and JA said they were not able to provide it...
So I guess the only way to find out is to order the stone and take a look myself. Since the would pay for shipping I would only be out the 30 bucks for the wire transfer fee, I suppose.

Hm....That's weird that they won't provide a video!!!! It's their motto now! I'd press them about it a bit more. Did they send you any pictures of the actual stone?!? I guess you could buy it, they do have a 60 day return policy...

I feel that being twinning wisps, and with the report from the gemmologist, that the stone is definitely worth checking out.
Looks like a great SI2 to me!
