I am in search of a 1 Ct, I color, SI1 (eye-clean) RB. My budget is around 6K max, including setting. My ultimate goal is to get to 2 Ct in the future so I must buy from reputable vendors with awesome trade-up policies. Thanks in advance for everyone's valuable input...this is a rocking forum :D

Diamond 3 from GOG does not include their lifetime trade up. Just the 30 day guarantee. So if you want to trade up in the future, I would strike that one.

Definitely prefer the last stone, the GOG H&A.

The #3 stone is too deep, light leakage, face up diameter of a 0.9c stone.

#2 stone, IS looks good but the hearts image is off, not worth paying the premium for a H&A.

#1 is a virtual stone selection, not sure if WF has it on hand, the image might not be the stone, numbers are iffy, could be good or bad depending on the rounding. Might not be upgradable as not all stones in the virtual inventory are included in their upgrade policy.

Thanks, Stone-Cold and Antelope, for your input!

I think JA requires you to spend 2x on upgrades while GOG's lifetime policy and WF ACA/ES diamonds have a better policy, so that might be worth reading up on.

OP is shoot for a 2c in the future, definitely more than twice the cost of the present stone of around 6k if keeping the color and clarity at the same grade.

yeah, but what about tiny upgrades until she gets to 2c? just something to consider

The WF's stone looks good too, JA stone's hearts image is again off, the 2 halves of the 2 o'clock hearts is sheared and not symmetrical.

If the 2 are equal, then I am seriously thinking about the GOG one because it is a few hundred dollars less. Thanks, again, Stone-Cold, for your help!
