Looks very promising. Do you have an idealscope image by chance? It''s best to confirm with that if you do or if you have seen it in person.

Haven''t received the idealscope but will request one.

Thanks.

The second option is as:

1.51
H Colour
SI1 Clarity
AGS Triple 0
Cut – Ideal
Polish – Ideal
Symmetry – Ideal
56.8% Table
61.9% Depth
35.0 degree Crown

lovin the 1.51

Hi Cbacon!

Both diamonds look promising, so if you could get an Idealscope image for each, that would be most helpful!

Unfortunately, no idealscopes available at this time. Any other suggestions/comments would be appreciated before I check these out in person.

Cheers.

If you are checking them out in person just make sure to view them in a number of different lighting environments and buy whichever one your eyes are drawn to more!

Neatfreak''s right....if you''re able to view them in person, that''s far more important than what the ''paper'' says.

Try to look at them in as many lighting conditions as you can.....diffused light, low light, etc.....and pick the one that appeals to your eyes the most.

Haven''t seen the 1.51 yet but just saw the cert. There is a cloud shown on the table - isn''t it strange for this to have been graded VS2?

Cheers.

It depends on how big/how easy to see the cloud is!

ya, depends on the intensity of the clouds in question. Even if it covers a very large area on the table, if could be very diffuse thus difficult to observe face up at 10X.

Highly unlikely for there to be an issue with clouds in VS2.

Looks good, but the culet might be visible. Be sure to check that and that if visible you are ok with it.

Sorry girdle is medium, no culet.

Cheers.

Then it should be a good candidate for further investigation.

According to this a medium culet will not be visible.

Ditto - I have a cloud under the table of my VS2 and I can''t even find the thing with a 30x loupe - you have nothing to worry about

According to the HCA it is.
Where does it say that? Can you link that info please? Also it is the girdle which is medium not the culet in this case but it would be good to see the HCA info.

Ya, I change my recommendations after he noted that the medium was not for the culet but girdle. On the HCA, if you enter the culet size for medium, I rounded up the numbers, 3.2% as it does not allow input for 2 decimal places, it pop up a warning saying beware of the visible culet.

Ok thanks, I see what you mean. But generally the tutorial says a medium culet won't be visible so perhaps that is what we should go by.

ya, probably because the round up change the culet size to a sl range instead of m range resulting in the output.
