Unfortunately, no idealscopes available at this time. Any other suggestions/comments would be appreciated before I check these out in person.
Cheers.
Neatfreak''s right....if you''re able to view them in person, that''s far more important than what the ''paper'' says.Date: 12/2/2008 9:36:31 PM

If you are checking them out in person just make sure to view them in a number of different lighting environments and buy whichever one your eyes are drawn to more!
Highly unlikely for there to be an issue with clouds in VS2.Date: 12/5/2008 5:36:00 PM

Haven''t seen the 1.51 yet but just saw the cert. There is a cloud shown on the table - isn''t it strange for this to have been graded VS2?
Cheers.

Looks good, but the culet might be visible. Be sure to check that and that if visible you are ok with it.
Ditto - I have a cloud under the table of my VS2 and I can''t even find the thing with a 30x loupe - you have nothing to worry aboutDate: 12/6/2008 6:39:03 AM

Where does it say that? Can you link that info please? Also it is the girdle which is medium not the culet in this case but it would be good to see the HCA info.Date: 12/12/2008 4:48:58 AM

According to the HCA it is.
Ok thanks, I see what you mean. But generally the tutorial says a medium culet won't be visible so perhaps that is what we should go by.Date: 12/12/2008 5:15:55 AM

Ya, I change my recommendations after he noted that it was not the culet but girdle. On the HCA, if you enter the culet size for medium, I rounded up the numbers, 3.2% as it does not allow input for 2 decimal places, it pop up a warning saying beware of the visible culet.
