It seems different than others I have seen and I am not sure what to make of it. Thanks in advance!aset.jpg

Interesting. It seems to have a lot of brightness in the right places but not a lot of contrast. I wonder about the white corners though; when you see it in person (or video), what do you notice? Can you share photos/videos?

Bc of the blue (contrast) on the edges of the diamond instead of green/red (medium-strong light return), the stone will actually appear smaller/skinnier than what it is. Those facets also don't turn 'on' in the video, which means you're going to see darkness on the E/W sides of the stone pretty much all the time.

The center does have nice strong light return but I would want a more even distribution of the red/green/blue throughout the stone.

Yep. What AC117 said. The edges look to always be dark and don't blink.

Sorry. Keep looking!

Thanks ac! Why do you think those facets don't "turn on"? Is there something wrong with the cut?

Great performing emerald cuts are hard to come by - most of them have a prominent bow-tie where you would see blue/black throughout the entire middle of the stone....this stone fortunately doesn't have that, but it does exhibit that on the outter edge. You can see in the video that those facets are dark/'off' when looking at the stone head on and when rocking it from side to side.
