OK after reading all the advice I got about 2 carat stones, my fiancee and I started looking. How does this one score?

2.057ct
SI2/H
60.6% depth,
54.4% table,
34.8° crown angle,
41.1° pavilion angle
measurements 8.26-8.28x5.04
price is $13,317.
AGS certified
ideal cut

Is this price from the internet or local store?

The reason I ask is because you can find similar diamonds in the internet for $1,000 less. For B&M it is probably not a bad deal.

It's on GoodOldGold.com...

If you give any credence to tools like the HCA which scores it a 2.6, then the diamond may not be such a bargain. GOG usually provides great info on the diamonds that they sell - how does the BrilliantScope and/or ISee2 results look to you?

Personally, having not seen the diamond nor its' accompanying reports, I would pass on this particular diamond.

Thanks! What would we all do without this site? I guess, we'd have a lot of crappy diamonds on our fingers

Again, thank you in advance!!

A very nice diamond that appears to be an exceptional performer but I am choking on the price. A bit on the high end.

My bad, this is actually a SI1 diamond. Typo -- whoops! Does that make a difference?

If it is an SI 1, then the price is better.

Looks exceptional

. Is it eye clean or at least eye-cleanish? H&A?

I have been told it is eye-clean and a gorgeous stone. We'll have to see how it plays out! Thanks for your help everyone.

Second stone looks good, the price is certainly more in line with SI1 than SI2.

Let us know how it turns out!
