Opinions on this dainty Ruby Ring

Hi everyone,
I’m always on the look out for nice Ruby rings and this one caught my eye.
It’s 1.20 carat and I just love this darker colour compared to the red pink rubies.
Is this Ruby big enough? I usually go for chunky rings but I’m on a budget so I guess I prefer quality of Ruby as opposed to size.
Do you like the rich colour. Tell me what you think?

Is your heart set on a ruby? Because if you enjoy this deeper tone in your red gems, a garnet would be much more affordable (and you could go larger). As far as the size, I would say 1.20ct is a nice weight for ruby, since it tends to be such a pricy gem. The ring has a pretty halo for sure!
