If you have confidence the diamond is well cut, the pricing is good. However, with the information supplied, the cut of the diamond is not specified, and you may want more info about that, before going ahead. Suggest your checking out the tutorial here.

Best wishes!

Mondera lists it as an Ideal Cut, and the depth/table seem pretty good. GIA cert.
Anyone else able to offer any input?

Thanks!

you need more information....

GIA Cert and table and depth being good do not automatically equal a well-cut stone. they CAN but it's not guaranteed. nor does Mondera's notation this is an ideal cut stone. the notation of 'ideal' is overused and under defined.

so get a Sarin report on the stone, crown and pavilion information..since you are buying virtually, buy armed with information. any images of the stone, ideal scope? anything?

my personal preference is to purchase with vendors who supply images up the yin-yang for you to make a decision by, this also includes a sarin to confirm numbers on the grading reports etc. not everyone wants that additional info, but if you are buying online and it costs no more, why not?

for this reason i would not shop with mondera...i have heard blue nile is getting better and actually supplying images and sarin reports, which is great, next step is idealscope images...but i don't know where mondera is with getting their 'details' show on the road!

From the numbers you provide, the stone seems to be a good value. Have you seen the stone?

I agree with fire&ice. It sounds like a nice stone at a fair value. It wouldn''t hurt to get those images and sarin details as Mara said though. Obviously that will just make your decision easier and let you know more about the diamond. Good luck....
