Hi all,
I am popping the question soon to my long time GF. (my heart beat faster just typing that last sentence.)
I found this website two days ago and found the posts here to be very informative. Based on what I have read, I have narrowed my diamond search to the following criterion.
a) My budget for the ring is around $2600 to $3200. I''d like to keep it under $3k, but am willing to spend more for a nicer ring.
b) Color of the diamond to be white. I selected G through H for my searches. Do you guys think I would be OK as well?
c) Must be the AGS0 Ideal or GIA Excellent cut.
d) HCA 2.0 or lower.
After searching for a few hours, I have found several diamonds that''s within my budget. I listed the diamonds I found below in order of price, please let me know what you guys'' picks are.
question on #4: The diamond is bigger than the rest at 0.78c, but the polish and symmetry are only excellent and very good, are these as important factors as the clarity? I am waiting on the Idealscope image for this one.
