Opinions on Diamond

After reading through the forums I called up Yekutiel with ID Diamonds. After going through what I wanted and my budget he responded with this stone which he says is a pretty awesome diamond. I have attached the Ideal scope and H&As pics.

HCA of 1.6 - Excellent/Excellent/Excellent/Very Good

I guess I am trying to decide whether I want to skimp a bit on the cut to get above a carat, or go with a diamond that sparkles like mad. This is going in a Gabriel white gold halo so I am inclined to go with the best cut possible as I think the difference in .15 - .20 mms won't be very noticeable in a halo. This stone is at the top of my budget. What do you guys think?

I am pretty excited about the Diamond too. He assured me it was completely eye clean and that he would maybe even rate it a VS2 so from the reviews here of him I am confident it is eye clean. Plus I am saving a little by being just short of the full carat mark.
