Hello: I am planning on purchasing a 3/4 carat pear shaped diamond. These are the specs:

Cut: Very Good
Color: D
Clarity: VS1

Depth: 59.2%
Table: 58%
Symmetry: Good
Polish: Good
Girdle: Medium to slightly thick
Culet: None
Fluorescence: None
Measurements: 8.34 x 5.10 x 3.02
Length/width ratio: 1.64

I have attached the sarin report to this post. Can you please give me your honest opinion on this stone? The price is $3913.00. I am not sure if the sarin report uploaded. If, for some reason, you cannot read it, it states the following:

Total D.mm 3.02 59.1
Table W.mm 2.94 2.93 2.96 57.7
Crown A 33.8 31.5 36.0
Crown H.mm 0.72 0.69 0.76 14.1

Seems a little high for an ebay deal.

You can use the search bar at the top to find dealers that are offering similar diamonds to yours. By the way, you didn''t mention what lab issued the grading report. In particular, who said ''very good'' for the cut?

Thanks for your reply . . . The diamond has a GIA certification. This is not an E-Bay deal. It is an Internet Purchase (Blue Nile).

Sorry, I was reading the header of a different post about an ebay purchase.

Very good cut is not a term used by GIA on their reports. This is something that was added by the dealer and I would take it with a grain of salt until you actually see the stone. Cut grading on fancys can get complicated.

I''ll leave it to others to analyze the particulars of the deal. There are some highly skilled shoppers here
