Opinion on stone

Hi,
First time poster here
I've found a stone I'm close to settling on, but I wonder, should I go for a lower color (e.g. a G) and maybe get a higher carat?
AGS 1.34 F VS2
scored 1.2 on holloway, vendor asking 16,700

I want to put it in a solitaire setting for my fiance.

Depends on personal preference and sensitivity, most should not be able to tell a F from a G if both are well cut, once mounted.

You certainly should keep that option open. Do some more research, then make your decision. You can't go wrong with an F or G color grade from GIA or AGS.
