Opinion on Pink Sapphire

Would this be a good stone for a 3 stone anniversary ring? Want to set it in white gold with diamonds on each side. My budget is $3,500 and it has been challenging to find a nice stone in my budget. 1.27 Cts, Almost loupe clean, step cut, from Madagascar, heated. Any questions I should be asking the vendor?

What size is it? In millimeters? I would want at least a 6 x 8 mm for a three stone.

Size is 7.00 x 5.20 x 3.94. I like it, although I originally thought I wanted a lighter pink stone, however that is proving to be very hard to find! I think I want oval diamonds on each side. Suggestions?

It looks like a nice sapphire. Traps or half moons might also look nice with it.
