I''ve been looking for a ring with my GF and she fell in love with the Birks Amorique Solitaire. I don''t know much about it but I do know it''s a .56 carat, i colored, and the clarity is vvs2 set in platinum. They priced it at $5725 CAD. So including sales tax it would be costing me roughly $6000. That''s a huge amount of money for me, and out of my price range.
I was hoping I could get some advice on other options that are really similar? And if it''s possible to get the band custom designed to be the same one? I know Birks has a mark-up for brand, warranty, and being in-store etc..but is it really worth that much? Please help!
