Hi, I was looking for loose diamond for an engagement ring, and a local jeweller offered me this

Carat : 0.63
Cut : Round Brilliant
Color : E
Clarity : IF
Polish : Excellent
Symmetry : Excellent
Crown Angle : 34.5
Pavilion Angle : 40.8
Table : 56
Depth : 62
HCA score : 1.3

He Claims that this is an ideal Hearts and Arrows, and based on the specs and the heartsandarrow.com site seems to be true
http://www.heartsandarrows.com/hearts-arrows-diamond-ideal-cut-dna.aspx

He provided this Image :

Can you see from this image if a diamond is really Hearts and Arrows ?

Also, when i asked for the ASET and IDEAL images, he said the diamond was currently with his cutter overseas,
and I had to pay a 30% deposit before they brought it in. When i googled the GIA number, numerous china sites
with the GIA Number and diamonds with the exact same specs appeared which seems fishy to me. Is it possible
that all of them get their diamond from the same place so the same GIA number may be listed multiple times at
different sites ? Or is this most likely a fake ?

Here are is another recommendations by him, which apparently also turns up on numerous china sites...
GIA 1149425779

It looks great! Yes, it is common to have a diamond listed in different areas. Unless the report says it's an H&A stone, then it won't be classified that, but there are arrows, so that means there are hearts, are they "perfect H&A"? probably not. But it is beautiful and has a great hca score! The nice thing about a stone like this vs a "true" h&a is you'll get a similar performing stone without the premium

It should be a very nice stone. You cant tell whether its an H&A without an H&A viewers or image. It would be normal for a
stone to be listed by several vendors.

Ex specs!!

Thanks to all for your help and advise ! It really helps put my mind at ease :)

The stone looks beautiful, but I am sure you know you could go to F or G VS and get a larger diamond, right? Do you want some price comps or have you already checked that?

It is great and perfect for a ring, but do not make your decision so quickly, I agree with diamondseeker, that a relatively lager one might be more perfect, you can take it into consideration. ;))

Well, my fiancé is a visual artist by trade, so i'm not sure how sensitive she is to color and if she might see a difference. I know that for the same price for D color i would probably only get 0.5 carats or so. Not sure about F, but would it be significantly bigger ? i doubt its a 0.1c difference. Hahaha. Will check with the jeweller who offered me this and see what i can get for F color around my budget (About USD 4500 to 4800).

for 4500 you could shoot for the .8/.9 range. it is significantly bigger.
