Hi All,
I came across a stone that has only one small cloud on the table (not smack in the middle...it''s off to the left) and a few pinpoints. I was surprised that the clarity grade is a VS2. I thought it''d be a VS1. I know that the location of inclusions play a part in a stone''s clarity grade but in this case the inclusions weren''t all clustered smack in the middle of the table or anything.
Do you think whoever graded this stone was being tough? Or that it must be a really bad cloud?? I''ve also seen a couple of other VS2 stones that only had two or three tiny clouds on the table...guess that''s enough to make it a VS2?
