Old GIA cert?

I''m comparing 2 diamonds, and they are very similar in numbers, but one cert is 2 months old and one is 9 months old. I think I read older certs could be an issue. feedback? thanks.

I don't really think 9 mos is all that old. Don't worry about it.

Seeing that one GIA report is 2 months old and the other is 9 months, I don't think that is a problem at all. If these are round diamonds than anything in the last 12 months is fine. If they are fancy shaped diamonds than I wouldn't be concerned unless they were more than two years old. However, that's just my opinion. Opinions may vary...
