I would like to purchase a used Cartier watch, nothing too fancy or expensive, but in decent shape at a good price.

So, please provide a list or links to some reliable vendors that you've heard about from your forums and boards.

I have no idea, I just wanted to browse at first. Maybe a Santos or an older tank americaine? Woman's watch.

No! I rolled the dice w/ebay & turned up a winner. HA! But Tourneau is a well known, national watch chain who, I believe, only take on pre-owned watches that they *sold* originally. The rest: ** shrug ** just resources I've gathered as possible options. In the pre-owned market it's a bit of a cr*pshoot. Which is why people do pay the premium of buying new from Authorized Dealers.

Timezone's been mentioned, the puristspro is another where you can buy from watch dudes like DF and yes this is how I sold my JLC. The problem you might have from vendors per se is that they might recondition watches and sell them at a premium. I think you'd do well to narrow down your choices to specifics. Some watches are collectible, some available, not available, etc.

i've done couple of deals on TZ but you'll still need to know the ref# of the watch.
