by any remote chance are there any vendors that have "sample" bands they will send to try on?

The 2 I am most interested in are Vatache and Mark Morrell. I do realize my chances are slim but thought I would ask anyway

For Vatche it might be easiest just to find a local store that carries them and go look at them there. I'd still buy online but I know there are a couple of Vatche dealers near me.

No question is silly here, which is what makes it so great!

I'm not sure if other vendors do this as well, but I believe Eternity Diamonds by Yoni has a program where they send you rings (up to 3 or 4, not sure) to try on and compare for free. I do not believe they have those designers, but maybe you can find something similar on their website!

Never a silly question. I don't know of Vatché sample rings, but if you go through a good online dealer, they can send you a set of ring sizers. Based off of that, they will recommend your perfect size. Some designers, like Verragio, have their own proprietary sizer. But I don't think Vatché does. If any of their rings tend to size differently, your vendor will be able to confirm. What city are you in? You might be lucky enough to have an online vendor be near your home town, and you don't even realize.

My advice, take the extra few days now to be sure you get the size you need the 1st time. Although you may get some great, speedy and courteous service afterward; the overall time without your new ring could be two weeks.

MWM I don't think so. Vatche, call a PS dealer that carries them. Some lines allow their vendors to get settings on memo to show their customers. I have no idea is Vatche is one of them, but their dealer would know.
