Officially Engaged!! Pics of My OEC and Very Delicate Antique Setting

Hi Everyone!!

Last Saturday, I became officially engaged!! Since we had been looking at rings for two months, it was no surprise. It was worth the wait though. I LOVE my RING!! It''s a 1.19 F SI1 OEC that faces up like a D!!! There are four single cut diamonds on each side. The setting and the stone date back to approximately 1910. The setting is so delicate, I don''t even feel like I''m wearing a ring, which is wonderful because I have never worn rings!!

Thanks Addy!! Here are a few more shots that show the setting in better detail. Unfortunately, the stone is a little dirty in some of these. (I need an ultrasonic machine!) Anyway, notice how the setting shapes a heart on each side. I absolutely did not see that at all at the jewelery shop (and I looked at the side for a long time)!! It wasn''t until he gave it to me, and a while after that, when I kept looking at the platinum and wondering, why did they kind of fold it over like that . . . and then I realized, OHHHHHHHHH! They''re hearts!! How sweet!!! Oh, and it''s handmade too, which is why it''s so delicate!!
