So, my fiance had been planning on going for a bike ride and stopping in the park, having a picnic, and proposing. Except it''s been snowing and yesterday was pretty much a blizzard and I guess the ring was burning a whole in his pocket so, he scrapped the whole plan.

We went out for wine last night at an enoteca (after I was complaining in the car ride over how I was in a desperate need of a manicure!) and I was going on and on about my "fat" fingers and how I wish there were such a thing as finger lipo. He started talking about how he loves all of me and that I might like my fingers too (gets down on one knee), with a little bit of decoration (if I say yes)...and then he asks me to marry him!

I was SO stunned because it was just a regular Friday night out, my hair was in a ponytail, nails unpolished, and I had come directly from the gym. I believe I said , "Are you $hitting me?" which is HONESTLY a phrase I have NEVER said before in my life...I was THAT STUNNED! Apparently I have the mouth of a sailor! Who know?

According to the guy, I stared at the ring in shock and eventually said "Yes yes of course!" I''m still in a haze.

The diamond is a gorgeous 1 carat, F, Ideal cut hearts & arrows round solitaire. It''s set in a temporary Tiffany setting because...

MY EARLY WEDDING GIFT IS A LEON MEGE SETTING!!!! We''re flying out to meet with him in a few weeks!! *SQUEAL*
