OEC experts -quick question

I'm looking at a stone thats 7.71 x 7.36. Is that too asymetrical? Stone is 1.73 ct, P /VS2. Seller says more yellow not brown. I'm waiting for more info tomorrow, but thought I'd ask you guys if that will be obviously not round? Photo looks ok.

It’s probably not going to be too bad actually assuming it’s evenly oval and not some sort of wierd lopsided shape. Would love to see pics when you get some to share!

This would be for a premade sapphire target ring, so I'm not sure oval would work! I'm waiting for more photos, but I photoshopped the stone into the setting:

Well it’s definitely not going to be perfectly round so you might have some issues if it’s a stock setting

Don’t give up yet! Check with your setting vendor (Ivy and Rose?) whether they can accomodate it.

Definitely check! It might be fine! Plenty of OEC's are not perfectly round (most of mine aren't).
